اختيار مُحَدِد الكمية الصحيح
للإجابة على الأسئلة التي تبدأ بـ How much? وHow many?، نجد أنه توجد بعض مُحَدِدات الكمية التي تُسْتَخْدَم مع الأسماء المعدودة(friends, cups, people) ، ومُحَدِدات تُسْتَخْدَم مع الأسماء غير المعدودة (sugar, tea, money)، ومُحَدِدات أخرى تُسْتَخْدَم مع كل من الأسماء المعدودة وغير المعدودة.

استخدام "Much" و "Many"
تُسْتَخْدَم much و many بشكل رئيسي في الجُمَل المُثبَتة والمنفية. يمكن استخدامهم أيضًا في الجُمَل المُثبَتة والمنفية معtoo وso. ملحوظة: يُمْكِن استخدام كلمة many بمفردها في الجُمَل المُثْبَتة بينما لا يُمْكِن استخدام much كذلك. يُمْكِن استبدال Much في الجُمَل المُثْبَتة بتعبيرات مثل a lot of أو lots of (يُمْكِن أن تُسْتَخْدَم هذه التعبيرات أيضًا مَحَل many).
