EF University Foundation Program

Gain the skills to succeed
Our EF University Foundation Program prepares you thoroughly for the challenges of higher education. This 6-, 9- or 11-month program bridges the gap between your previous education and what is expected at your chosen international university. A six-month fast-track option is available in destinations worldwide for eligible students.

Specialized coursework
You’ll learn essential study skills such as essay writing, critical thinking and group work as well as prepare for and take the necessary proficiency exams required for admission including IELTS, TOEFL and ACT. It will also provide you with an overview of local customs and educational systems. You can also specialize your studies with academic coursework in subjects from International Communications to Art, Science, Engineering and more.

Guaranteed placement
Students who successfully complete our program are guaranteed admission to one of our 150 partner institutions in the UK, USA, Australia, Singapore, Germany and France. To help you succeed, a dedicated University Pathway Manager will advise you on the university application process, including finding suitable degree programs, visiting universities and helping with application materials and deadlines.
