Korean study abroad programs:
If you want to study in Korea, you can choose from an array of EF programs. Choose your desired Korean language program based on how demanding you want your course to be:
- EF Intensive Course: 32 lessons per week
- EF General Course: 20 lessons per week.
- EF Basic Course: 20 lessons per week (for beginners).
The Intensive and General courses cater to learners of all levels. Prior to your departure, you'll need to complete a brief proficiency quiz to determine your Korean language level. Based on the results, our experienced staff will place you in a class with other students at a similar level to ensure a personalized and effective learning experience. You can further personalize your study abroad program in Korea by choosing Special Interest electives (SPINs), which combine language learning with your professional aspirations or personal interests. The SPINs offered in our Korean school include Sustainability, Reading and Writing, K-Culture and Korean Theater, Preparation for the TOPIK exam and much more.

What visa do I require to study in Korea?
Depending on the duration of the study abroad program, Canadian students may or may not require a visa to study in Korea.
If you plan to study in Korea for less than 180 days, you do not require any visa other than a K-ETA.
