University foundation year

The EF University Foundation Year in Canada provides a combination of intensive English speaking courses, TOEFL and university preparation lessons, academic research, study skills and essay composition. In addition, students can choose specialist modules in their academic area of interest, preparing them for their university degree.

Graduates of this program have special benefits at some of our partner institutions, including acceptance of an advanced EF level instead of a required TOEFL score, flexible application deadlines, and quick admissions decisions. Students may apply in advance for conditional acceptances for visa purposes.
